The Leaning Bell Tower of Pisa


Piazza de Duomo, which is home to the famous Leaning Bell Tower  has been designated as a World Heritage Site  by UNESCO ,in recognition of its ensemble of medieval architecture. The ornate Baptistry of St. John (Battisttero di San Giovanni), the beautiful Pisa Duomo (the city’s primary cathedral), and the magnificent Camposanto, the  walled cemetery all combine with the oddly tilted tower to form a architectural marvel.
 The bell Tower of the Church ,The Leaning Tower of Pisa took over 187 years to be constructed and be finally finished.The famous 4 degree slant angle makes it one of the 7 Wonders of the World .
